What do you do in this "Car Stalemate"?

I was on my way home from work today when the car in front of me stops waiting to turn left into a driveway. I then notice he can't becasue on coming traffic is blocking it. I then notice that the guy in front of the on coming traffic is trying to turn left as well. I sat there for about 30 seconds wondering WTF was going on, then noticed that his turn siganl was NOT ON and that he wanted to turn left inwhich I was blocking. So I backed up and released the 4 car stalemate.

It was kinda weird. I have never ran into that before. Here is a pic to illustrate it: Here ya go.

Cool drawing. Someone has to give in. It was the winter of 96. I had just got snowed in at work and stayed awake for 28 hours. The DOT shut down all of the highways. Finally when things opened up, I decided to go home and get some sleep. The streets were plowed 1 lane only. I wanted to turn left onto a street occupied by a women that wanted to turn right, exactly where I was stopped. We stared at each other for what seems like 10 minutes. Finally I gave in and drove straight, so the woman could proceed. As I passed her, I flipped her the finger. Little did I know that right behind her was a Jeep load of State Police, on their way to the barracks. The State troopers promptly pulled me over, issued me a delayed arrest and charged me with disorderly conduct! Like I was in a bar fight or something! My defense was, "Hey, Magistrate. What about all of those people with the bumper stickers that say "Eat sh*t and Die.", or "Don't like my driving? Dial 1-800-F*CK OFF!" You get the point. Anyway, I had to pay court costs, but was not charged with disorderly conduct.

had it happen before.. execpt I stopped before the intersection so the guy could go thru.. on my left ...

i hate it when it happens on Orange Grove Blvd.. for the most part its 2 lanes going on each directions but then after a certain hour they have street parking available.. and then it becomes one lane.. ugh!

There are sholders for a reason. Gravel, curb, whatever. There is usually room. IOf not, drive slowly over the street sign so you bend it nicely and not kink the post.

this is why you should TURN THE GODDAMN BLINKER ON. god i hate it when people don't signal. it takes like a swipe of the hand and yet people are still too lazy...

not sure if the supreme rules on this in 96 mostlikely not.But if this happened today u can have just said that middle finger is consinder free speech.

driving to work. woman in the opposite traffic turns left into a gas station in front of me. if i had not braked i would have hit her. she didn't allow enough space to make the turn w/o me hitting her...GRR

on the freeway/highway. am doing about 80 w/ the flow of traffic. am in the 2nd to right hand lane. woman gets on freeway then proceeds to get into my lane going about 40 (she didn't speed up enough on the on ramp, and didn't stay in the right hand lane to speed up). i brake HARD HARD! from 80->40 and barely didn't hit her..she didn't even know it happened!! she was totally oblivious!!
