I am an Industrial Maintenance Manager (middle-managment.) I oversee a machinery & facilities maintenance department for a blown film products manufacturer. I'm licensed in CA.
My parents are licensed in CA in addition to a dozen or so other states.

For the most part, it's nearly no effort to obtain additional licensing for more states, just a phone call and a fax.

The only "problem state" is Hawaii.
