IT network eng. for Wachovia Securities....

55k, with about extra 10k from overtime, and about 3K from bonuses.

Not enough, I suspect the guys in the same department make about 10k more than I do.

How much commission do realtors make on new houses? For example, when you go to buy a new home the builder has agents there. I was talking to the guy selling in my area and they sold 13 this month at 260,000 average price. The math on that is about 100,000 worth of commission split between 3 people assuming 3% commission. Do these people really make 3% commission on every home sold? If so I'm in the wrong business...becasue getting a real estate liscense can't be hard to get compared to a 4 year engineering degree..

I work with Juvenile Offenders (we actually call them "kids"), have for the last 16 years and will for the rest of my life.

My company has 100 programs for all kinds of kids in 10 different states.

It's never been about the money, foo!

Realtors have MASSIVE earning potential. But there are tons of realtors. You need to be extremely good to make serious bling. If you suck, you might not be able to make your own housepayment.

I work in a refrigerator factory, making a little more than $15/hr.
I've got dreams of building custom PCs for less money, but more enjoyment. 😉

Right now looking for a job, so my answer is 0.00. This guy is trying to get my involved in international sales/consulting and I might do that... but I have to get clearances from the government and travel. Not sure if I can fit it in with school but the money is good and I hate school anyway.

Didn't it used to be a faux pas to ask people how much they make?

Until people's parents started telling them what they made. Now the kids brag about it.

For real, I do I/T work, in messaging and collaboration. Not going to share my pay here though, but, I'm in the avg range according to my company, which means it's probably below average in reality, but, in this economy having a job seems to be above average so I'm not going anywhere.

Paralegal. 42,000.

I'm hoping to join up with the DEA soon. They're hiring if anyone is interested in that sort of thing.

Meat supplier for oriental restaraunts

All the cat , dog and anything alse i can kill quietly, I can eat

Bean Counter at a bank. Not nearly enough, but it's entry level. Fringe benefits are fixing everybody else's $hit (and getting blamed for it anyway) and running up'n'down stairs all the time.
