What do you do for a living and how much do you make?

Considering this is a more or less anonymous internet forum, why is everyone so sensitive about how much money they make? I know I shouldnt expect actual information from an OT thread but come on. Also, six figures is not an answer.

Oh yea, student/whatever, 0-5k per year

I suppose I'll understand once I get a real job right?

I'm anticipating a $10,000 raise at the first of the year as I move to something like a System Administrator. 🙂

Congrats!

I'm a student and make about £3.5k or so a year part time. When I graduate I hope to get about £20k ~ $30k but we get owned in tax's and such but we get a National Health Service that is subsidised through out tax's and such though. Uni is MUCH cheaper in England. £1.1k ~ $1.6k to attend Uni PER YEAR ANY UNI this is. From the worst to the best it is all the same. So Uni is cheaper but we get less pay compared to what you guys earn........
