Anyone ever see the Steven King movie "IT"? That movie gave me nightmares for weeks. I still don't look at clowns the same.

Ernest Scared Stupid -- I put my bed against the wall for years in fear of turning over to see a troll.
The Thing -- Just freaked me out
Nightmare on Elmstreet -- Ahh, killed in my dreams is scary
Monster in the Closet -- I still can't sleep with my closet door open

Blair witch... The first movie that actually got me going. All the others are too corny or just bad.

The Omen. A good classic horror flick.

Smack me, but I also thought The Others was a decent horror flick. Probably cause I heard absolutely zero about the movie before I went to see it.

SHOWGIRLS!

Another vote for Exorcist... but the Shining creeped me OUT!

I really enjoyed the original Ring too.

THIS scared the sh!t out of me when I was younger.

same here! :)

ditto

and I used to watch all the horror movies as a child. The original Jaws as well especially when you see it as a child before you go on vacation at the beach.

Hellraiser. That had to be the most disturbing movie of all times.

Event Horizon was more of a modern day hellraiser but with better acting.

"Phantasm"....the original....saw it at the drive in when I was a pup. As I remember it worked out well for the date though.

Alice in Wonderland or Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

those movies may not be horror but they're so god damn weird and annoying that they scare me.

That's the one thing that's holding me back from seeing "About Schmidt". ;)

In any case, I'd have to say Evil Dead II still scares me for some reason. I've watched it a million times and own it on DVD but for some reason....
