Fresh roasted cacao beans or vanilla... hard to choose between the two. Coffee or jasmine after that. Honorable mentions: cinnamon, nutmeg, green tea (specifically gyokuro, if I have to pick), fresh cut grass
The smell that struck me the most and one that I'd pay just to go back and experience was the barrell barn at Woodford Reserve. The combination of oak, earth and rich bourbon combined in there was...intoxicating. I just stood there and closed my eyes for a minute and enjoyed it.
Other favorite is fresh roasted coffee. And for some reason I've always been a sucker for that cherry almond scent that used to be used in a lot of hand soaps. It's some throwback to being a kid and always thinking you won some sort of bathroom lotto when the restaurant or store had that soap. It's not used much anymore in the era antibacterial soaps. But that was always a favorite smell for some odd reason.
