I like ot keep my processors within 10 degrees of MB chipset temp. Which, is usually under 40 celsius. P3's are rated to take something like 82C, but i don't like even getting close to that.

Well said Xray !! I would have to say that the T'bird is IT for hot right now. But with the clock locking :( back in place I do not think it will stay that way.

I'm with DarkManX on this one ;)

Although I do agree with Mikewarrior2, I like to keep mine within about 10 degrees of the motherboard temp.

i'd like to keep the computer within 20 degrees of the ROOM. don't compare it to the temperature of the motherboard only.

I mean, if room temperature is like 20C, and you have a 40C cpu, something is wrong. :p

well.. In my systems, I find that hte mb temp is usually within 3 or 4 degrees of room temp during idle...

to be a little serious: you should start worrying a bit when your CPU hits 50 °C or more
