Hi!
I have a 21" Sony F520 Monitor and I'm very happy with it!The only bad thing about it is that I don't have the guts to clean it! :D
Can somebody please help me here? What do you clean your flat screen with?!!The manual only says "smooth cloth" and "neutral soap"...
I need soap because somebody touched the screen...
Thanks in advance for your help!:)
Bye.

I have an IBM P260, which is a 21" inch Sony Trinitron.

I have a little squeqee, I wet a cloth & get my screen damp with that, then I squegee it off, soaking up whatever excess there may be with a cloth as the squegee reaches the bottom of the screen.

Streak Free, works well.

I got the squegee out of a window film kit for autos a few yrs back, I just kept it instead of throwing it out cuz it was the perfect size for monitor cleaning.

If I need soap for greasy fingrprints, I use a drop of Dawn dish washing liquid in the water.

I clean my Sony Wega Tv the same way.

<< Will the hand soap do the job?
Thanks.

No, but I think a hand job will. ;)

Use alcohol. That's what they use at the manufacturer. I wouldn't use any cleanser like Windex, it'll strip the protective coating off it.

I find 20 grit sandpaper produces some excellent results when used to clean your CRT & LCD screens.

It's amazing what a 100.00 bill and a little NEFfing will do for your member status. ;)

I got Kensington Screen Guardian spray at OD for 50 cents on a closeout. I use it with TP because facial tissue is a bit abrasive.

The Kensington "Wipes" suck in comparison.
