what do you call this piercing?

I've seen this odd piercing a few times.. its in peoples lobe, and it has a piece of what looks like thin gauge stainless wire coming out of the lobe, just traveling up it for maybe a centimeter or so, then going back in. almost like a backwards barbell. any ideas? i cant find anything on this kind online and i really wanna know what you call it.
 
im still a little confused.

are there two holes pierced in the ear? or just one?

i dont know how a barbell can be 'backwards'
 
Yeah, between my job and my bills I don't have enough time or energy to do anything else 🙁

yeah, two holes in the ear, its definatly not a barbell though. imagine a person with two holes in their ear lobe, one next to another (going up the side..). all it looks like is a little piece of stainless wire coming out of one hole and going back into the other, just so that the little piece of wire is visible from the front. Sorry i cant give a better description, im a bit confused on the whole thing meself.
 
oh ok. does it wrap around the lobe, like a coil, or a spring? if its simply two holes pierced then its nothing but your ear pierced twice, its not a specific peircing(like prince albert or whatever).

its just simple jewelry, check out some online shop to see what they call it. it might just be called 'ear coils' or something, u never know.
 
nope, just a straight piece of wire.. looks kind of like a surface piercing "stud" if it was put in backwards

edit: and not under the skin, just worn backwards through two holes
