So I get a call from my parents who tell me that as a 27th birthday gift, and since I have lost about 70 LBs (see link in thread) they would like to spend about 700 on my for my birthday.

So sweet, that sounds good to me. I was thinking about throing in $210 and getting this:

To go with the 76" projector screen I just got... anyone have a better thought on either projectors or how to spend the 700 :)

I suggest 700 Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers. We'll get you back up to fighting weight in no time.

You stole what I was going to say. The first thing I thought of in this trhead was that commercial.

Samsung, I think, is going to make a big change to the DLP world this summer. LED source instead of lamp. I'm holding off.

Acer to me is not a projector manufacturer....LCD's yes...I prefer Infocus over Acer as this is their speciality
