look below at my signature. it rocks, i've have no real problems with clocking it, i'm yet too try any higher. i fluked a great chip. my main concern is with the alpha pep66 heatsink and the aopen hx-08 full tower, i cut some metal away in the plate were the heatsink would hit, and the fan of the alpha blows into the power supply, i've attached a thermal diode that 3dfxcool sell, maybe i didn't mount it clopse enough too the chip but my temps are great, room temp:22c cpu no load:24-25 cpu under load:30c

what do you all make of this? should i go for a gig? how safe is it if i have no lock-ups?

1.75 and i tried it at 1Ghz at 1.75 and it works fine, do you think if i run it at 1Gig it would be safe if i have no lock ups?

i've backed it of to 933Mhz, do i have anything too be afraid of running it at a higher speed than this?

As long as it is stable and you don't have to bump up the voltage to run at a gig, then by all means go for it. You might want to loop q3 or something to make sure it is completely stable though.

I don't know what you mostly do with your system, but I noticed you need a better video card. It's a major bottle neck.

P3-700 o/ced 980mhz@1.75v
CUSL2
256mb PC-133
CLAP2
IBM GXP75 15G
SB LIve
