Funny thing is I have no interest in playing Guild Wars 2, and I haven't played Guild Wars in I can't tell you how long.
 
I've been getting that password reset thing a couple of times a day for the last few days now too lol
 
mark me down for it too.. they have an issue with password verify thing (as i cant and the forms say its an issue) thought it might be related.. free game.. why hack it?
 
I would think so. I changed my email addy [and a stronger password] and haven't received any emails since.

Take all your stuff and turn around and sell currency. Some people are just cheap too. I had my original GW account hacked back when apparantly I found out a ton of their accounts got hacked, but I didn't know till a year later when I decided to fire the game up for the first time in a few years. My characters were there, most my stuff was, and there was a new character fully leveled and was played heavily on my account too then lol (a few things were missing from my account and I was pissed because it was all very high end hard to get stuff and my collector edition dragon pet, the NCsoft people were like oh well! I was pissed and uninstalled the game and never touched it since because of that).
 
I need to remove my CC from the store there. It's a bit scary if it gets a major "Rift" like hack at the start and people charge up and transfer gems/money off.
 
Yea, i have been getting them since pretty much when I pre-ordered before the headstart. been ignoring them, never had much password spam from other mmos
 
that means that hackers probably have your account credentials from elsewhere though. so you should probably change all your passwords.
 
I've gotten a few of the e-mails, and I've only just played in the beta. No way am I even considering playing the game unless there is an authenticator.
