I think there are some things that everyone agrees on, but both sides (liberals/conservatives) are blind to and keep arguing about. I'd like to start a series of polls asking various questions. Answer THE QUESTION. Do not imply anything or read into the question really deep, just look at the question independant of all other information and answer it truthfully. You may back up your answer below if you wish but focus only on the single question that is asked.

I picked the third choice. He doesn't thrill me, however the other alternative is Bush, and I find him unacceptable.

IMHO that is the only thing going for him....last thing we need is another slick willie

Are you kidding? Clinton was a STRONG president, regardless of his political affiliations. He's got all of the right stuff to be president, charisma, he's great at public speaking, and he can CONVINCINGLY appeal to either side, something Kerry certainly doesn't have, and something Bush only has a small grasp of. We haven't had a strong president since Clinton, and currently, I don't see one of the horizon.

I'm saying this and I'm a Republican and am going to vote for Bush! :Q

While I don't wish him dead, I certainly don't thing he's a good man and I think he would make a terrible president.

Sorry I just disagree,

Klinton was a egotistical maniac obsessed only with self aggrandizement (however many would say that is a prerequsite for the job), the only thing he did well was have a good public presence, the rest IMHO was smoke and mirrors....now his wife on the other hand is quite the cunning little...well we won't go there. Overall I am glad his time has gone, and dread the day when his wife takes or tries to take the spot for herself.

Personally, I think Kerry is a scumbag who's political convictions are so weak that he'll say ANYTHING to try and get into the White House. He's weak on defense, exactly the opposite of everything I believe. I perceive him as pacifist and weak, two things I don't want to see in a President, regardless of their political affiliation.

Yeah, Clinton didn't do much as a role model for future generations, but his policy was moderate-conservative which is why America is no worse for the wear...no better...but no worse. Kerry, on the other hand, is so left-leaning that having his namby-pamby ass in the White House during this time of terrorism and tenuous economic growth is a frightening thought.

I voted the third one. I disagree and think he'll do a solid job on defense, and hopefully will focus his efforts on the REAL threats...something the current administration has failed to do IMO.

He certainly isn't my first choice though, but Bush's policies have done irreparable damage to our nations standing in the world...and since Kerry has the best chance of ousting him he has my vote.

I liked the sound of both Clark and Edwards in the primaries. Dean was our governor...he talks a big game but his programs didn't hold water in our tiny arse state so I couldn't seem them working on a national level. The medical care program he instituted here is set to be running at a loss just 4 short years after he left office. And the citicisms of him having no experience on foriegn policy were valid. He doesn't.

I'd rather see Clark or (pipe dream) McCain in the whitehouse though. In these times, we need a man with a strong military background running the show. Some one who has experienced war first hand and knows the horrors and consequences and won't take going to war so lightly as the Bush admin has done. And in actuality I think Kerry has a better record than Bush in that department.

Mind you, this is all my opinion...and I'm on my way to getting drunk ATM.

He's ok. He is better than the alternatives.

Even though I think saying he's 'ok' is giving him too much credit. But he is still better than the alternatives.

He's ok at best.

He's not anti- middle class and is not religiously conservative so he will definately get my vote.

Where is the option for "He would not make a good president, but is better than the alternative?"
