i have bought from them several times in the past, and they seem to be pretty good. just wondering if times have changed and all of a sudden, they suck. didn't their list of qualified internet retailers big a tad bigger? i was trying to get them to pricematch a kvm switch with provantage, but they are not on their list. didn't they used to be? no biggie... it was only a $3 difference. so what do u guys think of buy.com?
 
They use to be fun when they had the $10 off $10 coupon codes...
I think they're just strugglin to stay afloat these days.
 
yeah i only bought from buy.com when i had coupons too 😀
but i am having a very hard time trying to locate one. i guess they cut back and coupons had to go. its all good tho... i got a buy.com GC from someone on FS/FT at a pretty good price... but just wanted to be a cheap-o about it and find a coupon 😛
 
I still shop from Buy.com on a regular basis. They still offer pretty competative prices on accessories like printers and home networking equipment, and my orders are usually delivered the next day.

I'm still very happy with their service.
 
They used to be a lot better before the economic slowdown. Ever since then, they've sold stuff on their website saying it's in stock. You would wait a few days and it then call in to check status... they'd tell you it's back-ordered. This happened a couple times to me and at least a couple times to my co-worker here. They've gone downhill and are probably barely afloat these days.

They used to have coupons all the time at a certain website... not anymore...
 
in my experience they're trustworthy & their prices are OK. if buy.com price + s&h + sales tax is reasonably close to other vendors, then i'll go with them.
 
There very competative in the software and computer accessories plus I almost always get my package the next day. I NEVER see that from newegg

I just bought DAoC form them and was 35 shipped and recieved it the next day.

And I know they used to email you a shipping label when you RMA'ed stuff. I don't know if they still do this but it was very cool when they did.
 
I bought a Switch, and returned it, opened. No problems. Credit refunded. Then later I bought my Radeon 8500 DV from them. Extremely happy about it 😀🙂
 
Buy.com is still good, but the deals are fewer and further between. I loved the days when the .com's were hot. Plenty of coupons and free shipping days (unlimited weight and size too), not to mention the great prices. The customer service used to be better too. They used to have an actual phone number where you could call an actual human being if you had a problem with an order.

Buy.com is still good, but it is not nearly what it once was. I'd say that I buy more from Amazon these days because of the free shipping and coupons.

Yes.. That is nice. I always seem to get most of my stuff from a warehouse that is right here in Illinois. I like the distribution network that Buy.com has set up. I just wish that they'd stop sponsoring a half-ass golf tour and give us our coupons and free shipping back. 😉

geez! for u guys getting ur stuff next day... do u live like right next to their distribution center or something? my stuff always took the full 5 business days. i'm in NJ 😕

LOL,I used to love Buy.com I fondly remember all those great coupons all all the cordless logitech wheeel mice that ended up costing me pennies.

I still have the HUGE free mousepad they sent me with the words "size does matter" printed on it ... the comments that thing has gotten me have been priceless hahaha 😀
 
They are still ok. They don't have to have low prices like they used to. But you can't beat the days when they used to have free shipping days and the coupon discount codes.
 
They used to be the shiznit a few years ago, but that was when they had tons of coupons floating around. Their prices are ok now, but other retailers have better prices now like Newegg (which came out of nowhere and has become an AT fave). I still have a t-shirt and baseball cap they sent me.
 
buy.com is great. i love their layout of everything. some things are hard to find there too though. but i haven't bought anything from them since they stopped giving out coupons. now it's like all staples and such unless i find something in Hot Deals.
