Given that both parties contain a wide variety of opinions it's hard to define your starting point... You could ask what Republicans agree on. For example, some are big-budget statists, others are closer to liberatarians.

They both believe in and agree to an agenda of larger, more expensive government and less civil liberties, and in serving the monetary interests that finance them. It's only in the application of this plan (the who, the how, and the why) where they differ, and that only by who will end up on top, in control, and with the money when all is said and done.

Members of both parties that hold elected office mutually agree to respect the pecking order of seniority. This means that the people with the most influence, power and money are taken care of first. The rest of us, of course, are taken care of last.

We as Americans agree with each other more than we realize. We may disagree about how to go about something, but we all want whats best for the country. I think this partisan division needs to stop, it's gone way too far. We should be mad at terrorists and others, not ourselves.

Last time i checked there is a broad range of views on an infinite amount of issues.
The likeyhood that a democrat or republican will have the same view is very good especially experiencing the same lifestyle and environment.

It is my view that most americans have the same views...there are a few moral issues which differ but this is a spectrum.

Take any issue and there are a spectrum. Name one and there are multile stances.
And becuase there is a spectrum and population distrobution the majority of americans are centrist.

Just logically speaking...whatever that may be...but you have two parties representing two somewhat extremes. They have to to differentiate themselves. But if you want differences...read some platforms.
