I stand their awful tastes just to be able to get drunk. How can you like their awful tastes? I drink things like pepsi, sprite for taste. How can alcohol be drunk for taste? I use alcohol as a drug.

Well, I have friends who smoke cigars. The most foul, god awful, nasty things I can think of. They do it for the taste.

People are strange man.

On the up side, you can drink cheap.

Some people think pepsi and soft drinks are really gross and disgusting. Everyone has different taste. I'm definitely one of those people who primarily drink alcohol for the taste. 99% of the time I consume alcohol I don't even consume enough to feel "relaxed" or buzzed in any way, and it's intentional. Good beer and liquor can be incredibly delicious.

Relaxation-Got home at 5 yesterday. Let the dogs out, poured a bourbon and grabbed a beer. Sat down checked all my messages and email, forums etc...went outside and fired the Weber up. Cooked some bacon wrapped shrimp and bake potatoes. Had another beer and and bourbon. Ate dinner at 7 with another beer. 2 bourbons, 4 beers. 8, got in bed fired up Netflix, asleep before 9 and was up at 5. Slept like the dead.

Drunk-firing up the pit to smoke Boston butts for 4th of July on the 3rd. Drinking beer all day and all night because it usually 20hr cook. Take 7am-11am off the morning of the 4th for breakfast. By 12 back to beer and by that night I may be drunk depending on much water I mixed in through out the whole time frame. And that's putting away maybe 30-40beers my self depending on what kind of games and activities...fishing and such we have going on.
You can still do all that without drinking.

If the cigar is not low quality, Taste is not bad in my opinion. Drinking alcohol for taste is more like smoking weed for taste 😀

1) Because certain types of alcohol go well with certain foods
2) Because getting buzzed\drunk can be fun
3) I am more likely to get laid

I also look far more attractive when drinking, so sometimes I just drink a bunch and stare at myself in the mirror.

KT

😀

I smoked weed regularly from 19-21yrs. First time I smoked while drinking a beer, it made my beer taste like piss..Never smoked again. Dont mess with my beer flavor.

50% - get fucked up
30% - taste/compliment foods
20% - social lubricant

Much like alcohol, once your tolerance to herb gets high enough you can and do smoke for taste. Getting fucked up is a delightful by-product. There is nothing as magical as OG kush. Except maybe Jack Herer.

Too get drunk to some degree or another.

They may choose to spend more on the alcohol so that it doesn't taste like crap or aren't as rough going down along the way. Although there are inexpensive examples of some alcohol that do compare favorably to more expensive brands in terms of smoothness.

For example speaking of a vodka. Sobieski is relatively inexpensive but well reviewed and having tried it myself I don't often feel the need to spend over 20 bucks for a fifth anymore.
