newbiepcuser ~ good tip... maybe I'll do that next time. Sea-dooing at a lake sounds much more fun than bumming around at home... can you recommend a good spot?

I've only done it near it Laughlin, but I'm sure the SeaDoo shops can recommend some nice spots.

If you're daring follow behind a boat. They create big waves for ramps. 🙂 I know certain parts in that area actually has speed limit for Sea Doos.

If you want to rent a boat, rent them two weeks in advance. They are gone quick. We would travel around the lake area btw Nevada and Arizona and look for mini cliffs to dive off of. They are tons in that area. You will usually see people diving there already. I usually go feet first on the big cliffs.

Thanks for the tips, newbiepcuser... how much does it normally cost to rent out a boat/sea doo? Hopefully I won't have to put down a $1000 deposit... O_O

BruinEd03 ~ I just saw those pics... can't believe I missed out... 🙁 Then again, it was TOO HOT to toss monitors, let alone ice cubes... heh, sorry, I'll stop sounded like a broken record now...

Rob9874 ~ aw, thanks 🙂 I've found there are some VERY attractive girls in Phoenix... and an inordinate amount of attractive older women, too (mom-age+). :Q Your wife is probably one of 'em... 🙂

I'm reading a few things into your post.... First, thank you for the kind comment. Yes, my wife is one of the very attractive Phoenix women (however, she's not Mom's age...) 🙂 Second, I get the feeling you and I are on the same team, so to speak?

NO she will NOT have a threesome w/ you and your wife...j/k She may or may not...not for me to say 😉 😀

I'll be honest, its been quite a while. My old pals at Disneyland said it was hell of like cheaper to rent from SeaDoo shop then rent it for 150 to 175 for 4 to 5 hrs and that doesn't include gas.

I would suggest you get a group together to do this or rent in Arizona during the weekday, its a hell of lot cheaper during the weekday also in Arizona. The further away from the River, the cheaper.

I think all rentals ask for deposit, they charge your credit card. They clear it when you get back.

Boats vary from price to price. My buddies and I rented two big arse ghetto boat that fit like 10 people each. We paid like 25 to 35 a person for the 6hrs. We pack our own beer and food.

100% humidity...

LOL

You go to school in the midwest, you know how the humidity is here, I'd take Phoenix, AZ 10% humidity any day than southern Indiana, 90% humidity. The actual heat is what's bad.
