I have Winamp set to play MP3 files, so streaming MP3s are automatically played in Winamp. If you go to the file's properties, it will show a URL...copy/paste the URL to a download manager. It works for mp3.com - not sure if it'll work elsewhere, but it's worth a shot.

i used to use a program called "streamripper32"

Cybercorder is all you need.

Cybercorder can be programmed like a vcr and will start and stop the stream, so let's say you want to record between 1am and 3am it will start it, record in mp3 and close it for you. Very nice.
