What do I use to remove the stuff from a badly peeled sticker?

goof-off or goo-gone. make sure to test and use waterbaised if it is on plastic.

No, Goo Gone or WD-40 are pretty good, depending on what material it's stuck on ;)

Yup, if you don't have any Goo-Gone, WD-40 will work fine. I'd suggest taking a hair drier on "High" and heating the area too, the heat will loosen the adheasive.

The end all be all of sticker and sticker goop removal.

Nail polish works for many things, but the acetone in the npr can dry out the adhesive making some forms of glue harden - leaving behind a more difficult and sometimes impossible to clean residue.., Further, transparent plastics and similar materials are easily damaged by acetone.

Goo Gone gets my vote.

depends...

nail polish remover will work, if the surface is not too delicate. for somewhat delicate, goo gone. for very delicate surfaces, no such thing.

If it's on glass, scrape it with a razor blade. If it's on plastic, warm the glue with a hair dryer before you go at it with a razor.
