What do I need to make a network? I am really newbie with this : (

HI, I am really newbie with this so don't laugh at me ok. Now, I have 2 pc's and want to share my internet connection. What should I get to do this? Do I need something like a network card or anything? I am running Win ME and Win 2K dual boot. Please explain to me what I need to buy to make this happen cause I am tired of disconnecting my pc everytime I have to connect with the other one. Thanks fo all the helps.

You will need 2 NICs (network cards), one in each computer... then you can buy a crossover CAT5 cable, and plug the 2 ends to the two computers...

After that, follow the instructions on HomePCLAN to configure your network...

Since you talked about disconnecting your connection, I am assuming you are using dial-up... After you setup your network, setup ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) software on the PC connected to the internet to share that connection...
