What do i need to get HDtv?

Whats the easiest and CHEAPEST way to get hdtv with what i have? i mean i got the tv already. Can i just plug in a regular antennae and it should work? Dishnetwork wants to charge me $$$ to get it. Can't rent it either. Do those set top hd receivers work once u plug it in or you need to get some special programming package too?

kinda sux that when i watch something on hbo it says HD but i still get the crappy fuzzy picture.

if not, you're goin ot need to rent the HD box.

If the tv has a built in tuner, and your near a big city, you can probably get your local channels with an antenna.
