Another quick question: inspection. My inspection is due in October, but I won't be driving the car again until next May. Is it alright to let the stickers get out of date and then just get inspected when my liability coverage comes back on and I'm ready to drive it again?
My father will be starting the vehicle once every couple weeks to keep the battery alive. I will not be putting it up on jackstands, and it can't be driven on the road because I'll only have comprehensive insurance on it, so the best we can do to prevent flat-spotting the tires is move the vehicle in the driveway.
Finally, I just got my oil changed about a thousand miles ago. It's not really necessary to do it again now before putting the car away, is it? But of course I'll get it changed when I come home and start using it again.
