This is the first wedding i've been invited to since i was 8(my uncles wedding)......It's actually just the reception, they got married two weeks ago in hawaii, but are having the party local so everyone can attend. They're 29 years old...they like wine, but i don't know if that's too cliché or not, suggestions?

they are renting a house together
they have a dog
like wine
enjoy golfing

yup, they should be registered at a couple of places. Just decide how much you want to spend, then go find an item that costs that much. I think everyone should be registered all the time for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. It would make things so easy.

Cash money.

Trust me...I just got married and no one gave me cash. Any solid gifts will be lost in a pile of Bed Bath and Beyond stuff they'll get from anyone else. Get cash or a Gift Cert and they'll love you long time.

Dont' get creative. Like other people said: Cash or Registry.

I once heard a couple got six punch bowls due to people not using the registry. Don't be that guy.
