You and tweakboy need to hook up, you'd make similar music together.
That's about as nice as I can be about it. :(

i applaud you for trying to make music but this doesn't sound fluid at all. it sounds like it might be ok if it was played faster, but it just sounds like it was being played in slo mo or something.

Well....ummm...

It sounds like you mixed Asian scales and a Russian dirge with an odd tempo.

Pretty much this. It almost has something going on there, but it doesn't come together right. It's too deconstructed for a purely musical piece, but not deconstructed enough for an ambient, or artistic impression. I'd work on it more, and either make it more or less fluid depending on what your goal is. Right now, it's in some kind of limbo that doesn't really fit anywhere.

You guys are reading way too much into this. It sounds like he dropped trou and smacked his junk on a cheap-ass keyboard recorded with his laptops internal mic.

There is commonly accepted music theory that should be followed when starting out. When you understand those rules and why some things just sound right to the human ear, then you can be free to break them, but at least you know why you've broken them and the listener may or may not agree.

That song just sounds random.

He makes the same mistake so many pianists make in thinking that the piano is a melodic instrument. It is not, it is a percussion instrument that happens to play multiple notes. As soon as folks try to carry the melody on the piano it's like dropping a piano on a glass-bottomed failboat.

I suggest you get a copy of Garage Band and try composing music on that. It's an Apple product so pretty much anything you create with it will be amazing. Everyone knows this.
