What do/did you buy on ebay that saved you MUCH more $$$ than getting from a retailer??

my iPod (before they became trendy).

I've also gotten some great deals on rare/valuable comic books because of seller ignorance. I turned around and sold them to collectors for significantly more than I paid for them.
 
most recent was some skin cleaner for my son, was half the price on ebay. Besides that the only thing I buy on there is cell accesories.

if only you could have gotten those shoes on Ebay. If so I would not have that horrible image burned into my brain.
 
Just bought 5 kayak spray skirts for our kayaks, my brother's, and a friend's. Combined shipping together and got them all, brand new, for $65. Retail, each one is around $65, so I saved $260.
 
I saved $400 on klipsch promedia 5.1 ultras, they retail in canada for roughly $850 in big box stores, I got them for $450 on ebay.
