I believe that it's a little more expensive, but look on the Hot Deals forum for the Canon Powershot A40.

Yes, the A40 has been heralded around these forums as the next best thing to sex.

The A40 IS better than sex. I love mine and recommend it to anyone- so far I've gotten two friends and my grandfather to get one. There is no other competition in this price range. :)

Because I started it and it's 100% true. It IS the greatest digicam to ever live for under $300.

Other considerations are the Fuji Finepix 2600 and Nikon Coolpix 775.

First of all wait until Sunday (maybe next Sunday not sure when it starts) when you can get the almighty Canon PowerShot A40 digicam for around $225 with FREE 64MB CF. It gets a little complicated though.

$299 digicam price from OfficeMax.com
-$50 off $250 coupon
-$60 price match against a competitor
$35 competitor's shipping
-FREE 64MB CF
-FREE shipping
===================================
$225 should be around this number give or take some $

If you're STILL not sure then take a look at these reviews, they speak for themself.

PROFESSIONAL REVIEWS
imaging-resource.com (with sample pictures)
dcresource.com (with sample pictures)
steves-digicams.com (with sample pictures)
dpreview.com (97 owner's ratings almost 5 out of 5 stars in every category)

CONSUMER REVIEWS
ePinions.com (100% recommended by 8 reviewers)
Amazon.com (4.8 out of 5 stars with 39 customer reviews)
CNET.com (8 out of 10 stars with 95% positive reviews)

I have some GREAT NEWS! The FREE 64MB CF offer is alive as of right now, at least it is here in Portland, Oregon. It may differ in other cities/regions.

Go to OfficeMax.com, in the lower right click In-Store Features, click your state, click your city, you should see 7 pages of ads click page 4 which is on the left, 2nd row down. You should see a Canon PowerShot A40 digicam for $299 which also says FREE 64MB CompactFlash media with purchase. Now you just have to find that elusive $50 off $250 OfficeMax.com coupon (hint: Google.com) then request a pricematch and you're done!

Most fools pay retail $300 for this digicam but you can get it for around $190 - $225 with 64MB CF FREE!

I'd wait for Dell.com's stackable coupons on software and peripherals get yourself a nice little canon S330 or S200.

With which company do I pricematch with?

edit: N/m found a place.

So now that I have a place to pricematch with, do I place the order with the $50 off coupon, then fill out the pricematch form?

Thanks,
Paul

Correct. Use the $50 coupon and purchase the digicam. Then you submit the pricematch form and call or e-mail customer service and tell them you want the FREE 64MB CF as shown in their ad.
