I got the infamous "Stay with your wife". Too bad the place I went to was out of the "sleep with the other girl" kind. :(

Funny you should ask. I love Fortune Cookies and my sister and I began this little "thing" where, at the end of the fortune, we say, "in bed."

I kept the last one I had (about 6 months ago) and taped it on the side area of my monitor because I thought it was particularly funny. It reads:

"Be moderate where pleasure is concerned. Avoid fatigue."...my ending..."in bed."

Ha!

Fortune cookies are soo fraudulous. They don't even give you a fortune. They're usually suggestions. Once i got 5 "fortunes" in one cookie, all where different, i guess they had a lot to say to me:)

I've kept one in my wallet for 3 years now. It reads: You will be unusually successful in business. Ack, too bad I didn't get into business school.

On a side note: Did you know that in China, fortune cookies ARE NOT given in restaurants? I was just in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan this winter and I did not see a single fortune cookie. I ate out just about every meal for 3 weeks and didn't see any! I think fortune cookies were commercialized in the U.S. by some Chinese restaurant owners that wanted to distinguish themselves from other Asian restaurants and entertain patrons. Anyone else have a conspiracy theory?
