I alternated between a bunch of the nerdy careers that nerdy kids like: aerospace engineering, paleontology, computer programming.

When I got to college I chose business because I wanted to make lots of money (lol!)

Now I'm an auditor, I hate my job, and I don't make very much money.

I always wanted to be a fighter pilot (and still do). I still remember my F-15 micro machine. :) My poor eyesight kept me from doing that. I get very jealous every time a fighter flies over my apartment. It's definitely not fair.

I am an engineer and currently work with aircraft carriers.

To this day, I still fantasize about being an actor or chef. I work for an auto supplier in customer relations. It is not glamorous by any means, but I don't mind going to work every day. I need to start "dreaming" more frequently and doing what I love.

As for myself, I initially wanted to be everything from a fireman to an astronaut, and eventually settled on some form of science/engineering in late Elementary school. I still want to be everything, but I'll still be going into some field of engineering. Right now I'm a CE major, looking into a double/minors with several fields (some outside of Engineering) so we'll see. :)

ichthyologist or oceanographer.

Then as I grew older I wanted to be a pilot. I actually had 2 years into my professional aviation degree done before I ran out of money to finish.....:(

Ended up with a B.S. in construction engineering and that's the field I'm in.

I wanted to be a chef, then a computer game programmer. I then did some research and realized that game programmers get paid shit and work ungodly hours so I decided it'd be best to just play the games and not design them.

Current profession (starting in a couple months): software developer
