when you first began visiting, or when you first joined? What were your first impressions, who did you first take notice of, what names did you learn first?

I, setting myself up for this on my own by sheer stupidity in choosing my handle, of course saw the guys-making-fun-of-egotistical-girls side of everyone. But if I was getting mocked, at least most of it was funny.
 
When I first visited, I thought the folks in ATOT were the weirdest group of "people" I had seen in a long time, so I joined in..........
 
i thought everyone here would be nerdy and talk about nothing but star trek.

i was very disappointed to learn the truth...that was why i joined! 🙂
 
hehe i joined at to tell everyone to grow up and get a life and be educated on things before they start ranting about them.

the thread was locked before my account was verifyed hahahaha.


then and to this day at amazes me cuz i cant believe ppl here think the way they do!

hehe for a while I didn't really recognize people, probably b/c I had trouble finding time at work to read and post.

but I think the first name I remembered was Viper GTS, I don't know why but it may have been the simple # of times I saw him post. 😛


I joined at first to get some help with a tech problem, but quickly migrated to ATOT and then DC as well.


Now I am addicted to neffing

I joined back in the old days. the people I noticed most were like Red Dawn, Russ, Harvey, NWM,
Teddy what's his face, Rio Rebel and a few others. I used to primarily frequent gen hardware and the trade boards but would pop over here occasionally just to see if Red and the crew had any good rants going,always worthwhile reading back then 🙂
 
i just joined originally to take part in the "Hot Deals" forum. but i came here a couple times and found that there was a wide variety of topics covered by a wide variety of people.

first people i remember are Russ and Skoorb.

i never went to the atot forum when i first came here...


i guess the first guy i took notice of was that c............ guy who infiltrated that L337 group on AOL. that was pretty funny.
 
Like most, I imagine, Red Dawn pissed me off right away. Luckily I've learned the difference between someone pissing me off and me hating someone because of that. Possibly that is Red Dawn's goal in life (or at least ATOT).
 
I didn't really notice anyone (at least that stood out) - I just flamed a lot of people and got flamed back.....after a while everyone started looking the same

There is only one person here that I dislike, and it seems a bunch of people do. His name starts with J and ends in Y ( or i ) and has "erbo" in the middle.

Other than that AT rocks. Hot deals and DC is where I live with ocasional Posts here in ATOT because the people rock.

When I saw Red Dawn's Post I thought that there couldn't possibly be a cooler guy on the net. That's what I get for thinking.
