What DID you play over labor day weekend?

My Wii got a lot of love this weekend, split between Metroid Prime Trilogy and Muramasa - also played a bit of Fat Princess on the PS3. I rarely get much time for gaming it seems so I tried to get some in during my downtime.

Picked up Bully: SE and Battlefield: Bad Company for $7 each at Blockbuster's labor day sale. Have been playing the crap out of Bully. You know a game is fun when it freezes every hour and you still keep playing it.

Played some Zombie Nazis in COD WAW at a friend's house on his PS3 yesterday at a cookout. Proceeded to go buy COD WAW last night after we left, played for a few hours laster night, and spent quite a bit of time today playing it.

Also finally beat Wolfenstein on the PC on Bring the Pain. Final boss is a beast to be contended with, awesome game tho.

I was trying to replay Saints Row 2, but I wanted to download the updates/free content so I spent Saturday and Sunday trying to connect to Xbox Live through my pc's wireless. I didn't get it to work so I didn't play anything.

Several hours of Lost Odyssey, and I still can get a little more in tonight -- I need to beat those giant paralyzing worms at Grand Staff.

Is it as hard as COD4 / COD:W@W Veteran?!

Penny Arcade ep 2. Gameplay is repetitive, but mindless and entertaining enough.
I beat it last week... alas, episode 3 is in limbo last I heard. Maybe they'll announce something about it at PAX East next year. The games lose something without the video-game-lampooning stuff...

Anyways, I mostly played Eve Online - the wife was watching some stuff on TV, so I couldn't get access to my Wii to finish up Fire Emblem.

Well, I bought a PS3 last week along with Uncharted. The goal was to play it over the weekend and I did as much as I could before the lockups just became too much to bare. Great game though.

Oddly enough our Wii did too. We never play Wii, but we logged a TON of hours on it. Part of it is that two of my wife's cousins were in town and one of 'em is a huge Nintendo fan. We had a lazy Sunday and from 3 PM until 11 PM or so she played Mario Galaxy (got...27 stars?). Then I started playing Metroid Prime 3 (which I borrowed from a friend a while ago and never started) and now I'm into it. I need to go back and replay 1 and 2, I remember loving the first and thinking the second was so-so.

You're just about where I am in the game.

I didn't post in the last thread because I went and stayed with friends in a log cabin. We played the ride ATV's, fix some dinner, sit around the fire, drink beer, talk, and smoke cigars game. Good times!!

Finished up the campaign in "Batman: AA", started "Wolfenstein", and played some "Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box" on the DS. The DS game was played mostly while watching football 🙂

It was slightly repetitive, but I didn't think too much of it, it wasn't like it was Assassins Creed. The graphics was beautiful, the ending was pretty good. I didn't get the DLC either, but it seems like it was just meant to 'explain' the ending of the game. I think the original ending did a pretty good job and made way for a sequel. 🙂

Beat Monkey Island ep1
Beat Super Mario World (VC)
Got 4 chapters further in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
Found out where I needed to go in Secret of Mana (i still suck, my 2 party members die soooo quick. I'm fighting a huge guy that uses lots of fire)
Got past a tricky part in The Witcher (potions ftw)
