i went with the voodoo banshee!!!!
i thought motocross madness looked amazing🙂

I had a p2 350 with the TNT, and Quantum 3D SLI Voodoo 2 passed through the TNT.

Best of OpenGL/D3D, and Glide for almost any game I could have ever wanted to play.

I got mine built from local computer store, and i think it was a pIII 600 coopermine. I'm still using it right now 🙂

All the P3s I have ever dealt with were given to me as old systems. I have only purchased AMD processors in the last 7 years for all the computers I have built for me, friends, and family.

First P3 was a slot 1 P3/550 coppermine that was guaranteed to do 750.

It was a good one...ran it at 840...screamin fast for the day. Paid $125 for it

The first major PC upgrade that we got was a Dell Dimension XPS R400.

Pentium II 400
64MB RAM
10GB HDD
Diamond Permedia 2 AGP 8MB
56k modem
Turtle Beach Montego A3D
17" Trinitron
Altec Lansing 2.1 speakers

$2700

I eventually upgraded it to a Celeron 466 and then a Celeron 566@850. I don't think I ever owned an actual P3.

Don't remember what I paid for my first P3, but it was a 500 Coppermine, socket s370. Upgraded from a 433 celeron to it.

Never had one! Here's my desktop CPU history:
286
486SX
P2
Duron
AthlonXP
Athlon Barton

Coming up next: C2D in April?

free - was doing some support comp work for a couple docs offices and their old rigs died and had 1GHz p3 cpus, they told me to get rid of the machines so i took the cpus and bought a dual p3 board 😀
