Green smoothie. On a vegan kick again. I love bacon & burgers, but I love the energy I get from vegan food.

I want to try a gyro, a friend of mine told me about them and they sound awesome.

I love pita bread and tzaziki sauce, but the gyro meat just isn't that appealing. Lamb and beef blend, roasted on a spit is kind of meh. I much prefer chicken roasted in a similar fashion, or pieces of lamb.

I haven't eaten real food in several days (had some salsa two days back). And nothing at all today. I'm starting to get lightheaded and dizzy, which means I probably should try to find something. There are some canned options that expired 5-8 years ago...canned fruit, stewed tomatoes, and I think chicken noodle. Not sure if I'm desperate enough to eat them yet. Also two open packs of some Chinese stuff, looks like probably dried seaweed.

There's some factory waste oatmeal as well. Takes a few hours to pick all the dirt, hair, husks, and dried insects out of it...I had several large bags of it, but looks like I'm down to ~1lb bag.

Maybe that canned fruit mixed with the oatmeal will be O.K.

I have never tried lamb and I have never heard of a chicken shawarma pita sandwich, off to google!

Gyro meat isn't really a good representation of lamb. It is kind of like a really cheap method to make slightly palatable food with leftovers. If you see it before it is roasted, it looks like a wad of Spam. Lamb chops or leg, on the other hand, is just delightful. I would recommend trying that.

With saffron rice.

For reasons.

Buddy...you haven't eaten in the right place 🙂 There's a hole in the wall place down the street from my work that makes gyros that are more addictive crackmeth.

Not sure what I will have for lunch, I am spending all of my time trying to decide which steak to order for dinner tonight. Rib Eye? NY Strip? Porterhouse? Or should I just go with the Prime Rib? So many choices. 🙁
