What did you give up for lent?

Those of you giving up red meat are much stronger than I.

I couldn't think of anything, but giving up cursing sounds like a good one so I will just copy a couple of the people here. :)

Actually, I've heard talk that the practice of giving up meat on Friday (Catholic) came about as essentially a Papal subsidy of the fishing industry.

I never did that whole giving things up for lent.

At the local catholic private school, where the majority of the peeps are catholic, 1/2 the dudes have already given up lent, and i'm sure you can figure out why...
