I drove an RSX (not a Type-S), pretty sweet, hella betta than the old Integras, but we are getting old and the added luxury and smoother ride of the CL is just our thing.

Also, I was at this store called "skinmarket" today and got her a gimmicky tin of mints labeled "make out mints".

since i have no significant other i went crazy and spent like $400 on gifts even though i'm a college student. lots of people will feel my gift giving .


i got my parents a pioneer dvd player, my brother a microcassette recorder, my sister a timex watch, 2 of my cousins got special gameboy advance nimh batteries, a bunch of my friends got korean bbq, another got a cross pen, and a girl friend got gloves. another girl friend got a snow globe. today i even gave my cousins old basketball to 2 5 year old kids who didnt have one at the park. now i guess i'm gonna end up buying my cousin a new basketball too.


basically all i've gotten myself is a
$20 logitech optical mouse, since i didnt have one at home, and my trackpoint thing on my notebook sucks. i guess the most expensive thing i bought for myself cost $3200. its the $3200 that i'm paying my parents for the part of my car that they paid for originally. now i can say i paid for all of it.

it's her first year as a teacher for 10-12th graders in an inner city school - she teaches biology and academic science.

well, it's not that bad of an inner city school, but it is one nonetheless.

also she is in the process of acquiring her masters in education and teaching credentials from UCLA.

So she is MAJORLY stressed a lot -- and because I can't give her good massages/manicure/pedicures/spa treatment, i'm gonna have the pro's do it!

she can relax and feel rejuvenated!

I got her some RPG's for our unloved (actually not very used) DC. She loves those games. Mindless entertainment and a diversion from housework and kids. Budgets are real tight this year for us (major bills and stupid mistakes) and a CD of 80's pop music she loves. (Couldn't bring myself to buy the Shaggy CD grrrr :disgust: )

4 nights in the MGM. was nice to get away from the three kids for a couple of days, (kids, boy 5, girl 2, boy 1)

Palm Pilot and a day-spa certificate. I also took her and her parents to A Christmas Carol at the local playhouse (annual tradition).
I have already bought her the Tag watch, tennis bracelet, gold chain, blah, blah, blah so I wanted to get something more useful this year.
