I got my scores today, got something a little over a thousand, will get the correct score later...

So what did everyone else get?
 
On the SAT scale, 1460, on the PSAT scale, 217 I think.

Edit: hehe, I mean, three years ago.. sorry, just woke up from a nap
 
Something crappy, like 11-- something. I did crappy on SATs as well. Try explaining that when you get 5's on AP tests.
 
i hate the SAT, I never took it... I took the ACT though and got a 34 on it; also took the SAT2 for chemistry, advanced math and something else I can't remember at the moment, got a 780/800 on the chemistry and 760/800 on the math
 
Why did people waste thier time and money on a test that doesn't count for anything? I got 1370 on the SAT 3 or 4 years ago.
 
PSAT's = National Merit Scholarship Program... that's why...


My 1370 didn't make it, but got honorable mention...
SAT's = 1480

But this was all three years ago...
 
It I remember right, I scored something like a 1060 on my PSAT's, and an 1190 on my SAT's

This was a long time ago, however, before they even allowed calculators on the exam. I'd imagine that the test is scored differently now.
 
1080 on PSAT in 10th grade. I took it again this year, but I haven't got back my results yet.

My intention wasnt for NMS (fat chance of that), it was just to see what my potential SAT score would be. I'm prolly gonna take the Feb. or March SAT and ACT's, and see what my score will be.
 
My PSAT 205 or something. Like a 1420 for SAT conversion. Got the honarable mention crap

My friend got a 1600 on his PSAT, raw 238. He got a 1560 on his SAT. Nothing short of brilliant. One of those out of the box thinkers.
 
PSAT: I don't remember. I think it was about a 210 or so. I got a crummy piece of paper saying 'you did a good job'

SAT: 1560

Standardized tests suck. Anyone can check out a practice book at the library and practice until they get 1400+ every time. That's what I did. I did a practice math or verbal section each day for 3 weeks until the test - practiced like I did for Counter Strike or StarCraft. When I finally took the test it was like shooting drunk turkeys with an M-16.

It's the National Merit thing! I'm a finalist and get get lots o' money from my school! It's the only way I can live off campus and buy nice Christmas presents 🙂 The PSATs were just about the best thing I ever did
