$1800 cash.

But then again, I gave away about $950. Family and friends kinda gave up on buying gifts for each other as the years past on. I was surprised that X-mas was even celebrated this year for us.

Sad that this is happening, but good because you still have a job at least. Look on the bright side. :)

PSP
- Final Fantasy: Crisis Core
- Final Fantasy: Tactics
- Ratchet and Klank and National Treasure 2 (came with the PSP)
4 gig Kingston micro SD with three different types of converters (can use it as a flash drive if I want)
Florida Gator throw blanket thing
Set of clippers and trimmers
2 American Eagle shirts

All good stuff. Best gift was for my father. He has been using an old beat up PC for the last couple of years (when it was the best in the house me and my brother would use it to play games almost all the time, he bought it and didnt really get to use it). Thing ran horribly slow and the HD was corrupted like a mofo.

So, fast forward a couple of years and me and my brother are out the house and my brother has money saved up from deployment (which explains my gifts lol). He decided to buy him a flatscreen to replace the CRT and build him a solid rig. Sure, he doesn't play much and doesn't really have demanding games (he mostly plays baldur's gate and NWN1, but of course we bought some new games for him), but it just feels good giving him a PC that runs smoothly.

We just got done unwrapping presents, there wasn't many... Although my half-nephew got about twice as many presents as the rest of us combined.(he's like 2 or 3?) Anyway, I got 2 presents: $100 and Pepperidge Farm Piourette rolled wafers. At least I am getting phased out of the Christmas excitement phase one way or another. (Good prep for later life)

That $100 will cover the costs of my textbook for college, The China Study, and some cables I bought last night. :p

This year was a great surprise for me. Being a dad I usually get some pretty crappy gifts from anyone but wifey. I got a nice pair of boots and my oldest son got me a g1 phone. My mom in law got me apair of crocs for around the house :-/. My oldest daughter is comin over later and seems quite excited about what she got me.

Its like bizzarro xmas :)
