Actually got surprised. Family got me some vinyl records, Pink Floyd, Eagles...then I asked where's the turntable. They said no way there were gonna pick that out. So now I'm shopping for a turntable to plug into my component Yamaha RX473. Haven't owned one since the 80's, I think this is gonna be fun, a new music hobby. Only local stores that carries vinyl is Guitar Center, FYE, and maybe a pawn shop. :cheers:

Yeah my two year old got a shit load of Dora toys. Was fun watching her open gifts. I miss being a kid. 🙁

Videos I hope. Our camcorder fubared after my kid was about 4 so we stopped. Few weeks back, was looking at the hi8's from before that and really regret not getting another recorder.

"All these presents have my name on them?" The look of wonder on his face was/is priceless.


Picked up a Diamond vcr/camcorder to dvd usb capture device to save the video.
 
I got this, and it's like my favorite thing ever. I was up for hours last night going through it and I'm still only 1/4 through. The photos are freakin' amazing.

I really regret not recording audio. I wish I had audio recordings of my daughter.
 
The Skeptic's Annotated Bible, Rocksmith 2014 and a beginner's electric guitar (going to try to learn), $100, new headphones, $40 gift certificate to Total Wine, and a wooden salad bowl. Oh yeah, and my wife surprising me with some new lingerie on Christmas Eve, the best gift of all.
 
Boxing day today. Mall wasn't too bad actually. Went just after lunch. Picked up Smash Bros Wii U at Target for $45, normally $65. Nintendo games rarely go on sale, so that was a great deal.
 
Nothing, really. Unless you count all the crap I got myself the past few weeks.

Thinking about getting a toaster oven for "Boxing Week," but the good ones all seem to use effing non-stick interiors for easy cleaning.

nope. and i'm going to regret it. the age she is right now is priceless. 🙁
 
If I ever have kids that I lived with I would want a girl. I have one, but I don't see him (it's a long story). Girls I think are easily managed. Would you agree? 🙂

No, they are not easily managed and as they get older, there is a HUGE AMOUNT of drama. With that said, I still wouldn't trade my two girls for every boy in the world!
