Canon A70. (my sister got one also. Now in my family we have 2x Canon EOS-1D, and 3x Canon A70. I'll have to line them all up and take a pic . . .
🙂)
clothes that fit me (did you know that it is impossible to find 34" waist, 36" inseam at retail stores? Not even Big & Tall had them! grrrrrr.)
books, lots of books, the one I am reading first is Quicksilver by Neal Stephenson. A good ~1000 pages or so of pure happiness. Maybe it will replace Cryptonomicon as the book I keep by my bed and read whenever I am bored. Man, I musta read Cryptonomicom eight or ten times by now . . . . .
a nice multimeter. Should come in handy with our robotics team (season starts in 15 days or so!! wooo!!) as all we had last year was something that was three times as old as I am.
Some sweatshirts from Rice, the college I will be attending next year.
But the A70 completely rules, and was also 100% unexpected. I love surprises when they rock.
a good haul this year, if I don't say so myself.
I gave people mostly CD's and DVD's, a coupla CDs for older sis (the one that got the other A70, Pirates of Carribean for younger sis, CD's for father, went in with other family members on a really nive housetree for mother (incl. pot, little wheeled thingy for pot to sit on). I forget the name. It started with a "G."
Well, merry Christmas folks!
edit: Oh yeah, I got this shirt, too. But it hasn't arrived yet.
