oh, as far as crazy times go, I'm getting ready to graduate and I'm too concerned about preparing myself for the job market and the real-estate market to worry about making sure I get my share of the "good times"

Yes, no student should ever want to try to have any fun..college is 100% about work...

I'm not a student. I detest that lablel. I am a professional. I'm not saying I don't party, but it's really really really really really far down on my priority list.

Summer 2002: Six weeks backpacking in Europe (Greece (Naxos), Italy, France, Spain (Ibiza), Germany, Denmark, and Sweden)
December 2002: Graduated Cum Laude from GA Tech
Summer 2003: Ten weeks vacationing on a Greek island (Naxos, Santorini)
December 2003: Received a job offer without sending out a single resume and was hired the day of interview.
November 2005: Am still working there!

Edit: My employer now sends me to Europe on business for 2-4 weeks out of the year. And I have attached a European vacation to such business trips during the past two summers.

went on vacation in Arizona but ended up starting a pretty successful lizard farm over there. Now I'm in New York doing software.

I graduate in May and have a job already. I'm planning on a week in May in Vegas, all of June in Europe, golf and relax at home during July, east coast baseball stadium tour in early August, start my job in late August.

I plan on working for two years then law school, so, aside from taking 2 weeks off in 2 summers to climb Rainier and then McKinley a couple of years after that, I probably won't have another vacation until after law school (except spur of the moment Vegas weekends).
