Pretty kitties. My tom's been getting on my nerves lately, but he's pretty cool. My girl's been stuck to me like a remora. I can't go anywhere without her being next to me, or on me.

Cats reliably pee in litter boxes. Change the litter regularly and the smell is minimal.

Dogs reliably pee outside, and will tell you when they need to do their business. They make your house smell a little bit like a wet dog.

If they're sick, stressed, or abused, both species will take it out on the carpet. *shrug*

Say we're friends, buddies, pals. Just a couple of guys who hang out together a lot. Maybe we're even college roommates. One day I ask you if I were to shit in the front yard, would you come by after me and pick it up in a little plastic bag? You don't have to wipe my ass or anything. Just pick my shit up with a bag and throw it in the garbage, while I watch. Would you do that for me?

No? Then why the fuck would you want an animal that made you do that?
