Well, I'm from Maryland, and despite the loss today, my team has beaten them more than any other team in the last few years, so i'll say it:

Redick is an awesome 3pt shooter - in fact I even saw him drive the lane once to score a layup w/o getting his pocket picked.

Yes, he's trying to round out his game like his good friend/diety morrison, but I'm not impressed, and neither will nba defenders be imo. He doesn't seem to have a coordinated first step, muchless a handle in traffic to be proud of.

he is one shy of the record for threes (To go back to that) and while i get tired of people saying how he's made his game so much deeper he has, but he did it a last year, it's not exactly news. you can look at the stats he shoots fewer threes and makes more...his free throw are getting a little worriesome though, below 90% is just not acceptable

Yeah, GT isn't doing great this year. That's what happens when you lose your top 6 players in one year in the ACC; and your NBA pg. Look at Wake this year without the ball puncher; one of our pg's is in the NBA and the other is in the NY Yanks. Brandon asked a question and I answered it, and I beleve we would have beaten duck had JJ not gotten a bullsh!t foul on Ish (JJ fouled Ish, Ish gets called). Maybe we're starting to clean up the refs in the ACC so it's easier to beat duke (see suspended crew from fsu/duke). I didn't start this topic, but I did give a legitimate answer. JJ's definately a talented player, but he gets a ton of help too. His feet are to slow on the next level to be anything but a spot shooter, although a great spot shooter. I don't hate JJ, although I do think he's overhyped. Duke has taken UNC's place in the ACC as the evil empire of basket ball. JJ is the face of this years team, he's going to get shots taken at him. The ACC is fluid, and that will change eventually, we have to many great coaches for it not to.

I disagree, I think he's a huge hypocrite, and I think he displays poor sportsmen ship. If he'd stop his whining, maybe I could like him. My favorite recent Duke players have been the last two good Duke point guards (Duhan and Williams) and I enjoyed watching Shane Batiea (however you spell that).
