Someone stole my trash can and all my trash. I put the trashcan outside my house last night, because trash pickup is on tuesday and friday mornings. So this morning I get up to go to work, and it is gone. Along with all the trash in and around it. Every other house in the neighborhood has their trash and trash cans outside on the curb.
Who would steal my trashcan and trash?

 
My bf and I think someone might be trying some type of identity theft, but it doesn't make sense. There are a lot of nicer houses in the neighborhood. There was a bunch of trash though. Someone didn't just pick this up and walk off with it.
 
Wind didn't blow it away?
I won't bother putting out the cans when the weather is bad. By the time I get home in the evening my trashcans will be down the road somewhere.

No, it was the same kind everyone else around there has. A rubbermaid light blue trashcan. The same one the lady next door has. The same one the lady across the street has. Everyone elses trash is still there, along with their trashcans. I drove up and down the street, thinking that the can might have rolled down the street or something. Nothing.
 
Probably some sort of identity theft thing.

Oh give me a break, if someone refers to their boyfriend, it's far more likely that they're a girl than a guy. Heterosexuals do still outnumber homosexuals by a huge margin, so it wasn't an unreasonable assumption to make.
