when does jeans become popular ever?

I only have 1 pair of jeans that I bought 3 years ago.

I don't wear jeans at all, nor do I think their anymore "popular" now then they've ever been. I have no idea how to respond to this asinine thread, my head hurts.

i've always worn jeans, so i guess i'm a trend setter....except i wear wranglers and most ppl dont wear wranglers

Actually, they haven't always been "popular". My parents used to get a laugh whenever they bought us kids jeans. According to them, when they were growing up jeans were worn by people who couldn't afford anything else(outside of those who wore them because of work...laborers and such).

My parents are Baby Boomers so no....I'm not some decrepit old man bemoaning the good old days.

In the 80s I started the trend in my highschool of wearing torn jeans. I'm such a rebel.
