What demo can really show off a GeForce3?

I just built an Athlon 1.4ghz machine with a Gainward "Golden Sample" Geforce3 DVI and 512MB ram for my boss. I'd like to prove to him the $339 was worth it for the video card I know about 3DMark, but is there any other demos that will show what this card can do? Thanks.

the chamelion demo is the best known demo for the GF3 IMO, but the enchilada demo is interesting too. The Inferno, Chamelion and enchilada demos were the ones NVIDIA made and used to show off the GF3 at release

If you are looking for a game to show off the GF3 then try Max Payne.

ehh, I certainly wouldn't use Max Payne to show off a GF3 (just beat the game this morning!).

Considering the engine doesn't support True Curves, graphically, that engine doesn't have much for it..
Don't get me wrong, it looked great, good textures especially, but.. ehh..

Agree on MP. Its good, but not a great looking game IMHO. I guess its because of the dark dingy setting. Its not very "colorful"

It defineately wasn't a contrast filled game.


Show him/her:

-Giants (never played it that much, but it's big and contrasting, takes advantage of T&L)
-Q3A (ehh, it still looks great..)

ehhhh.. that demo was designed for the GF2... it won't use ANY of the GF3's finer features.
