What defines a person?

I've been having an argument with my girlfriend about this, wanted to see what AT users think.

I say people are defined by thier actions, my gf thinks by words(what people say).

whadaya think?

words can reach farther places than a fist in the face; plus, its more versatile seeing that people sometimes absorb words differently. if thats what you mean.

What about the turing test? Are you trying to prove that you are not a computer???

did you guys meet on MySpace?

Why is it an either-or supposition? It is far more an and/both. A person is defined by both the words they use and the behaviors they engage in, but even so that is not the total person.
