Somehow I doubt Cradle of Filth will ever be mainstream or ever nominated for any award.
 
I've tried to listen to them, but I guess its not for me. I prefer Death metal.

I've seen COF and Dimu Borgur live and I just don't get it. COF had good crowd response. DB kept saying how the audience was a bunch of losers because we were sitting there.
 
Cradle of Filth is crappy black metal 🙁

Darkthrone, Immortal, Bathory, Celtic Frost, Ildjarn ect.. 😉
 
ugh, Cradle of Filth. The one rule for black metal is: don't be Danni Filth. I love black/death metal, but I can't stand CoF. Especially the vocals. I don't know this particular song, so maybe they toned it down, but regular CoF vocals are like nails on a chalkboard. I much prefer Kalmah, Children of Bodom, or if you want some really good death metal, a band called Opeth. They are simply mindblowing.
