what creates the bottleneck?

Highly Likely

Hello

I use GIS software, DBs and 3D landscape data.
The problem i am having is the following:
When I create a TIN (triangulated irregular network) to map heights points and lines in 3D ( using the 3D analyst by ESRI in ArcMap), the PC is near a freeze point, and i often get this error
Error 1 Creating TIN

What is the cause of this first error?

Also, when i want to copy the TIN to the program ArcScene (3D visualization), which is a recommended action (the copy paste of layers between the 2 apps), i get another type of error. No error post this time like in error 1 but, the paste never actually brings the layer into arcscene. The PC is thinking (hourglass), and with Task Manager I see my Physical Memory go higher then my 1024 MB of ram.
Error 2

Error 2 Paste action never realized

Please i need advice on what these problems, what are the bootlenecks to the second problem, and what processor are best suited for the kind of tasks i do (intel or amd), hard drives, ram ?

Here are my PC specs: Barton 2800 @ 2.2ghz, 2x512 ddr333 KVR, gygabyte ga-7n400, samsung spinpoint 250 GB.

Thanks in advance for your help
Please excuse my bad english
