What CPU should I put in here?

So Im putting together a new system. Everything is already here ready to go...I just need a CPU......any ideas on what I should get? (Basically this machine had an E6600 in it but that CPU had to go to another machine in the house leaving this one CPU-less)

-This PCs primary use will be gaming
-I dont plan to OC
-Price isn't a huge factor but I dont really want to go to overboard (Spending 700bux more for 5% more performance isnt my idea of a good idea.....not so into $1000+ cpus)
-If there is something coming out in the next couple weeks that would be perfect, I can wait I suppose.....but I aint waitin till May to buy!
-Obviuosly with my mobo Im needing an Intel

Specs:

Case- Cooler Master Cosmos
PSU- PCPower & Cooling 750W
Motherboard- EVGA EVGA 780i Sli
CPU- ???
Memory- 4GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800
GPU- 2- XFXs 8800GTXs
Sound- Xgamer
HDD- 500GB Seagate
Screen- 27" Dell Ultra Sharp (19x12)

You can check newegg for the oem 9300 quad core. It's just a few dollars more than the overpriced 8400.

I havent heard much on the 9300......whats the story? So far I just like the fact that its in stock at a few places. the e8400 seems to be a little tougher to find.

One other question, if pricing wasn't a factor which of these chips would be best for a gaming machine (non OCd)?

Remember, if pricing on them doesn't matter...they are free, you can only have one, you arent OCin...what'll it be?

q9300
e8400
q6700

I only have an 8400 so I cannot comment on the others but for the 8400 I could not be happier............................
