I actually have an uncle that works there. It's a really interesting place to visit. We were going to drive across the bridge to Saudi Arabia but they didn't give out visiting visas.

Don't call it the bridge! Call it the Causeway. Its name is the King Fahd Causeway. Are you sure they weren't giving out visas? Because I'm pretty sure your uncle could have gotten one. You, otoh, may not have gotten one.
