ok guys, i'm having some serious issues when i'm playing counter-strike source
the only thing that confuses me is that whenever it freezes up, i'm still able to talk in vent but i can't ever get my task manager up or switch back to my desktop (if i attempt to alt+tab i'll finally end up crashing my whole computer)
it's a bit confusing to me, i've reformatted and all that. i sorta had a similar problem with cs:s with my old computer (4 yr old sony vaio) so i'm kind of leaning towards that it might be cs:s but then again it could just be coincidence that there is something messed up with my current computer so i won't jump to conclusion blaming it on cs:s when this problem never happens to any of my other friends
anyways, my problem

i can still hear my friends on vent talking to me and all that (i can even talk back with my current computer, but i was unable to do that with my old computer so that's why i'm not completely leaning towards cs:s as my problem)
